The EPA has listed the HVACR Institute at Ferris State University to serve as an authorized
Technician Certification Program according to the Clean Air Act Section 608.
Garrison Michael is a registered Proctor for Ferris State University to administer this EPA
test. There are two available tests; Section 608 for Technician Certification and R-410A Safety & Training Certification.

You should pay at least 2 weeks
before the Test Date so I can order the Test and so that you can receive the Study Manual and start studying. SECTION 608 HOME STUDY COURSE: Home Study Course: 1.
Register and pay for Home Study Kit Course with Test2.
You will be receive a Study Manual for EPA Section 608
Refrigerant Certification3.
Also included will be about four (4) Sample Tests4.
When you complete the tests, mail or send to my email
below5.
I will then email the answers to you, along with some
study notes6.
Then prepare to take the test

Course. NOTE: Just taking a "Test Only" for the first time is no longer offered.)

Bring a Photo I.D. (Ga. Drivers License) to the TEST. Section 608 Technician Certification Test:
The test has 100 questions, all multiple choice. 25 questions for the Core chapters. 25 questions for Type 1 Certification. 25 questions for Type 2 Certification. 25 questions for Type 3 Certification. You must score a 70% or better in the
Core section, and one or more of the three Types. If successful in all three Types, you will have a Universal Certification.
You can re-test in any or all of the three Types, without re-taking previously certified sections, if you passed the Core
