1. Recertification requires eight (8) Continuing Education Hours (CEH’s) per year.  These classes we have chosen not to be submitted for NATE Recognized Provider Program Classes.  HOWEVER, they do meet the criteria as a CEH type class. NATE only tracks CEHs for NATE Recognized Courses.

2. The technician is solely responsible for maintaining any other CEH course information(like my GLEC classes).
  • The candidate must receive a certification of attendance with their name, date of the course, name of the course, a description of the course and contact information of the course provider.
  • The candidate must hold the certificate until applying for Recertification.
  • Note that NATE has before accepted these other GLEC Classes for CEH’s; HLG-DD-R-OL and HLG-DD-C-OL.

Want to know what the New Code Changes are?

Instead of going over Changes on a PowerPoint, thought I would actually show the Changes on the 2018 Code Books, by YELLOW Highlighting them.

But since the DCA (Dept of Community Affairs) who are in charge of the Codes for Georgia, only change the Code books every 6 years, yet ICC changes them every 3 years; I thought I would also YELLOW Highlight the 2015 Code Changes and add a RED TAG “2015-IFGC” or “2015-IMC” to these code locations for you to notice them.
Then, I review the State of Georgia 2020 Amendments for the 2018-IFGC and the 2018-IMC code books.
    • The reference books are the 2018-IFGC, 2015-IFGC, 2018-IMC, 2015-IMC.
    • After payment, you can Download the Georgia Amendments from our Website.
    • These books are Not Required to follow along in the Videos.

REVIEW 2021 CODE CHANGES IN THE IFGC & IMC CODE BOOKS

(INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE AND INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE)

Want to know what the New Code Changes are?

The DCA (Dept of Community Affairs) who are in responsible for Codes changes in Georgia; only change the Code books every 6 years, yet ICC changes them every 3 years.  So, although the DCA will not change these codes for another 3+ years, the Code Officials in various jurisdictions are commanding several Code changes because they provide better safety, reduce health hazards, provide better operation, etc. As a Professional Contractor, best you know the changes are coming.

    • The reference books are the 2021-IFGC and the 2021-IMC.
    • Code books are Not Required to follow along in the Videos.
    • I am reviewing a third-party book that states the Code changes, provides comments, diagrams and reasons for the changes for better understanding.
    • There are (38) videos at 3-8 minutes long to watch.
